The Encounter with the Hill: Collective Convergence
The spring equinox of 2023 found me participating with Tata Ervin in the Meeting of The Four Peoples of the World in the calpulli Teopazulco, a living exponent of Mexicanidad. This place preserves an undeniable energetic presence and offers a privileged view of the archaeoastronomical horizon that pre-Hispanic cultures used for their celestial observations.
For three days, more than 70 people lived together and learned from the tradition elders and the sacred fire. The experience culminated at dawn on the equinoctial day, when a large group of us climbed Teopazulco Hill (Mexico) to witness the sunrise. We positioned ourselves at strategic observation points, prepared to connect directly with solar energy in its moment of cosmic balance.
The Manifestation of the Portal: A Personal Experience
Silence enveloped the hill as we waited for the precise moment. When the first ray of equinoctial light touched the horizon, a subtle but unmistakable transformation occurred in the collective perceptual field. We aligned ourselves with the solar light in reverential attitude.
My personal experience transcended the ordinary: while observing the Sun kneeling on the grass, I visualized an enormous form, three times larger than the star, similar to a drill hammering on the rising Sun. Simultaneously, I felt an intense and very acute heat at a specific point on my left knee. When diverting my attention, I discovered that a ray of sunlight was passing precisely through a bottle with liquid that Tata Ervin himself had asked me to take to the hill, as if anticipating a significant connection.
The luminous projection on my knee exactly replicated the same figure of the «cosmic drill» that I had visualized, condensing all the solar light with identical energy. When sharing my experience collectively, a companion immediately exclaimed: «It’s Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer!» – establishing a surprising intercultural connection between Nordic culture and that hill of Otomi and Mexica tradition.
